Savannah Lakes Village Market Report – May 2026
May continued the spring market momentum in Savannah Lakes Village, with 6 homes closed and year-to-date sales moving ahead of last year’s pace. Inventory increased to 96 homes for sale, giving buyers more choices while also creating more competition for sellers.
The clearest split in the May numbers is between resale momentum and new construction softness. Home sales are running ahead of last year year-to-date, while new home permits remain well below last year’s level.

Through May, 34 homes have sold in Savannah Lakes Village compared to 32 at the same point last year. That is a positive sign for resale demand. New construction, however, tells a different story: 26 new home permits year-to-date compared to 53 last year.

May brought 6 homes closed, bringing year-to-date sales to 34. After the stronger April activity, May kept the resale market ahead of last year’s pace.

New Construction: Permits Remain Well Below Last Year
New construction permit activity continues to run behind last year. May added 7 permits, bringing the year-to-date total to 26. At this same point last year, Savannah Lakes Village had 53 permits year-to-date.

Inventory: More Selection for Buyers
Inventory increased to 96 homes for sale in May, up from 92 in April. That gives buyers more choices across lake, golf, and interior homes, while sellers now have more direct competition.
Current inventory mix:

- 18 golf-course homes
- 54 interior homes

Days on Market: Improved, But Still Selective
Average days on market improved to 161 in May, down from 216 in April. That is a positive directional move, especially as inventory increased. Buyers are still selective, but better-positioned homes are finding traction.
