Karen & I grew up in Eastern Pennsylvania and met at Kutztown University of PA in 1983. After graduating, I took a job in Norcross, GA and Karen soon joined me after she received her teaching degree. We both immediately fell in love with the people, the weather, and the wide open spaces the Southern US offered.
We purchased our lake lot on Lakme Thurmond (Called Clarks Hill Lake at the time) in June of 1990 and began camping in the area on most weekends. We built our home in July of 2001 and stayed in the area most every weekend and vacation until we had the opportunity to move here in July of 2013. Karen accepted a teaching position in Evans, GA and I retired from my began my retirement from an operations manager at an outdoor sporting goods manufacturer.
My love for the area and my desire to share it with people is what drew me to my career in real estate sales. It has given me the opportunity to meet wonderful people looking for the same things that Karen & I discovered years earlier. Best of all, I have been given the chance to pick my neighbors!
